I called Covington's yesterday, and Chris, the Shop foreman was very concerned about the condition of the engine.  the intake/airbox is pretty dirty and looks like it hasn't run in a long time.  I was originally concerned that Adelman's hadn't sent the right engine, but if you look at the paint scrapes on the "Used Engine" photo, you can see it's the same engine...  I need a DD expert to tell me what they think.  What I think is we need to do a cleanup of the airboxes, Possibly use the blower from the old engine.  I also want to see if renewing the seals on the blower is a reasonable thing to do in order to prevent the engine from scavenging it's own oil.
